Take a Trip Down Memory Lane with The La Crosse Club’s New “Clocktails”

Martini Glass1882 – French Martini – Created to honor the first French families to settle in La Crosse – the Moses’ and Jolivette’s. Featuring Door County Cherry Vodka, Champagne, and several other mixers.

1903 – Aviation Cocktail – Who were those brothers from Ohio? Gin, maraschino, Violette, and lemon. Shaken…just like their first flight.

1907 – Mississippi Mule – After a long day on the river towing those barges it’s best to refresh with our version of the other “M” Mule. Wheatley Vodka, ginger beer, lemon bitters, and lime juice.

1920 – Prohibition Cocktail – Once the bootlegger arrived, the ‘tea cups’ were filled to nearly the brim. To disguise the awful taste, a healthy dose of olive juice was added. Two parts vodka or gin and one part olive juice. Enjoy.

1936 – The “Old Timer” – Originally a glass with a sugar cube moistened bitters and ice was passed to the drinker along with the liquor of his choice. Yes, they were handed the entire bottle. We aren’t quite offering an entire bottle, but we have a choice of small batch bitters and three distinct blends of rye, whiskey, and brandy for the “old timers”.

1946 – Wisconsin Coffee – Uniquely ours with a nod to the Irish. Featuring J. Henry small batch Wisconsin bourbon and locally roasted Bourbon Barrel coffee. Yes, Fair Trade Organic coffee beans aged in distillery barrels.

*Ingredients are locally sourced whenever possible.
